If you have ever asked yourself how a take, scene or even whole film is made in only one shot with no cuts, I can tell you so much: It requires a lot of rehearsals and routine on behalf of all the crew members. With these behind the scene pictures, I want to give you an impression on how we shot “My Last Respects”, a 9-minute short film. ‘My last respects’ is a personal narrative of a real event. The script is written by life itself – broken down to the crucial emotions of a dramatic telephone call that turned out to be their last one. It is a story about love in the face of life and death.
